9 months!

N: We are healthy and growing strong, according to Dr. Prosser at our 9 month visit!
I: I'm still bigger. I am 20lb 12oz and 29 1/2" tall!
N: I'm catching up, at least in height! I am 17lb 4oz and 29" tall!
I: We are really looking forward to visiting everyone in Chicago on Sunday!

Eight Months!

I: Its almost our birthday! (In 4 months!)

N: Don't let Mom here you say that! She wants us to stay "babies" longer.

I: Well, she'll have to deal...I've got places to GO people to see...I gotta explore!

N: If you are in such a hurry why do you grovel around on you hands and knees all the time? You gotta get up on your feet and walk like ME!

I: I would, but I don't wanna wait around for somebody to help me...besides they never let you go where you want to go, to the GOOD stuff, like the stairs or VCR!

N: I guess, but its sure hard on you knees...we need more carpet and less hard floors around here!

Halloween Costumes

I: Ribbit! I'm a frog for halloween, I've figured out crawling now, but still working on hopping like a from...I still have a few days...
N: Hmm, I'm not sure what a flower says...Flowers just smell, I guess, and Mommy says that this flower doesn't always smell so sweet! Silly Mommy.

Seven Months

I: Another month has passed...and we are really MOVING!
N: Yep, we can roll and squirm just about anywhere now!
I: I can sit up for a long time and play
N: I can sit when I WANT to, but usually I'm to busy trying to squirm around, or trying to get Mommy or Daddy to help me STAND!

Guess what I can do!

I: That's right! I beat ya to it Norah!
N: Well, get comfy, I'll be running circles around you while you SIT there!

Norah: there were so many great 6 month pics, we thought we'd share a few more.

6 months!

Norah: Wow the months are really flying by! We are getting so big!
Isaac: Yeah, we went to the doctor for our check up, here are my stats : I'm 19lbs 3oz and 27.5 inches.
Norah: I'm keeping pace at 15lbs 6oz and 27inches!
Isaac: We are really into our oatmeal now, as long as mama mixes it with a yummy fruit!
Norah: Enjoy the pics, Mama likes to play with the camera, so we really ham it up for her :)

N: I'm a model now...do you like my body shot? A good wardrobe really helps, I love the frills!
I: I think I could get work as the Gerber baby!

Movie fixed

N&I: Please check out our first foods video again...we think we fixed our technical difficulties!

We are 5 months!

N: I know, I know, we look don't look a day over 4 months! Despite our baby faces we really are 5 months now.
I: We are really enjoying our exersaucers now.
N: And we laugh and smile all the time too
I: Mommy said that a new jumping toy is coming in the mail soon, I can't wait! (Gotta work off all that rice cereal)
N: I roll over from my tummy to my back, but can only get 3/4 way over onto my tummy.
I: I don't mind being on my tummy now that I can get my head up! But I don't roll yet...

Yummy or Yucky?

I: Here is us trying rice cereal for the first time, Yummy!
N: It was ok...but the texture takes some getting used to Yuck!

More teeth

I: I just got my 2nd tooth today!! Now I have both my bottom teeth.

P.S. This way I get to post more than Norah :)

Teeth

I: I got my first tooth today! Now I'm close to eating all they yummy stuff I see Mommy, Daddy and Lucas eating!

Aunt Char's wedding weekend

I: Here a a couple of pics from our recent visit for Aunt Char's wedding. Sorry we didn't post pics with every family member we smiled at...
N: yeah, there was too many! You all sure know how to make a girl laugh! My cheeks were sore!

Pool time

N: During our trip to Grandma's house we cooled off a bit at Aunt Francine's pool.
I: It sure felt great!
N: I can't believe Mom didn't bother to bring swimsuits for US! How would she feel going topless!
I: You think thats bad...did you see the size of the "speedo" she put me in!

4 months!

N: We are now 4 months old. We went to the doctor today for a check up. Things look good! I am 26 inches long, and 13lb 10oz.
I: And we found out why Mom complains about carrying me around! I'm 4lbs heavier! I am 26 1/2 inches and 17lb 6oz!
N: We are meeting all our milestones, and the doctor said mom can give us rice cereal on a spoon now!
I: Yeah! Maybe THAT will fill me up.

Happy Birthday America

N: We celebrated the 4th at a friend from playgroup's house, named Kaelene. She has great toys! She even had a pack'n play set up under the trees!
I: Everyone liked to hold us so we hardly used it!

3 Months

I: We were dedicated at our church today. Farmor and Farfar were lucky to be in town and it worked out nicely.
N: Farmor even knit us these pretty sweaters to wear!

I: You are so funny, Mom!!

I: Norah..look see, Mom's being funny! (nudge, nudge...you're suppose to laugh)

N: Oh, HA! You ARE funny, Mom!

Loyal Supporters?

N: We are starting to wonder about our followers out there...anybody reading? Only Grandma was on top of things enough to tell us we misspelled OLD (OD)...shame shame!

I: I think it was Norah's fault!

N: Well, maybe if I wasn't so tired...and you let me sleep more...you keep waking up to eat, and then Mama wakes me up!

I: Sorry.

2 Months Old

N: Today we had our 2 month check up! Everything looks great! I weighed in just below the 90th percentile, at 11lbs 3oz and 24 1/4" long!

I: I was even bigger! I was just OVER the 90th percentile and weighed a whopping 13lbs 6oz and was also 24 1/4" long (I think they jipped me in the length measurement though, I must have been slouching!)

N: I really impressed the doctor with my ability to lift me head and chest up off the floor!

I: And I flashed him one of my famous smiles!

N: All in all we got 2 thumbs up! (One for each of us of course :)

Big and bigger

I: Mommy took me to the doctor today since my eyes are crusty and my nose is stuffy...they said I have a virus. But while we were there they weighed me and I'm 11lbs 15oz now!

N: I snuck in a weight too because Mommy was curious and I was 10lb 8oz!

I: Auntie Becky put us in matching outfits today, they are the same size but it fits me better!

N: Yeah, but even the doctor said I was a big girl!

I: Yep, but I'm BIGGER!

Playtime

N: The living room just got much more interesting! I look up and wow! all this cool stuff floating in the sky

I: You should try batting at them like I do, Norah. All you do is stare at yourself in that mirror.

N: I like what a see!

Auntie Becky

N: Auntie Becky is here helping Mommy take care of us and Lucas...she's pretty good at keeping us both happy. She is very snuggly.

I: Yeah...she even gave Lucas some new cars...but not me :( she said I'm still too little...I keep trying to grow big enough as fast as I can...what's big ENOUGH?

Where's the Easter Bunny?

I: So I agreed to wear this gettup because Lucas told me that mom told him that the Easter Bunny was going to bring us all sort of good stuff...but I didn't get ANYTHING!
N: I told you Lucas said the Easter Bunny was bringing HIM all sorts of good stuff, I guess that didn't include us :(
I: Mom said maybe next year.
N: I did like my pretty dress at least, I got so many compliments.
I: So did I!!

A fine looking family

N: Since the Ericsson family is such a good looking family now that Isaac and I have joined the ranks we thought we'd share an updated pic.
I: I just think that I should have had a cool jacket like Lucas's!

Too big for our britches!

I: Mom had to get us bigger diapers this week as we have out grown the newborn size!
N: WE, try YOU. I still fit nicely in newborn size, but Mom says she's not keeping track of two sizes of diapers, so I have to wear diapers the size of granny panties!
I: Yep I'm bigger than you, nahnah. Catch me if you can!

N: Here we are in our new bath towels
I: I think Mom got these so she'd know who was who!
N: Nah, we aren't identical silly! You're a boy and I'm a girl! Duh!
I: Yeah, but mom is REALLY tired!

Welcome to our blog!

Norah: Hi! Welcome to our blog! We just turned one month old so Mommy and Daddy said we are now old enough for our very own blog just like our big brother Lucas!
Isaac: Yeah! And ours will be BETTER!
N: Anyway, check here often to see what is going on with us. Here is a little history to get you caught up...
N: Here is us at the hospital with Grandma and Grandpa on our birthday! Which was March 8th 2006.
I: We were in a big hurry to get here, as mom and dad were only at the hospital 2 1/2 hours before we were born! We surprised everyone, hee hee!

N: This is our big brother Lucas! He gives us lots of kisses!

I: They are a bit sloppy and wet though!
